SUBSURFACE INVESTIGATONS (SUE)
A-E-I has been performing nondestructive investigation for
delineating subsurface environmental and engineering problems since 1996.
Our professionals utilize
- Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR)
- Radiometrics
- In-Line Cameras
- Electromagnetics
- Magnetometers
- Resistivity
- Thermal Imaging
- Shallow Seismic Equipment
A-E-I is capable of locating and delineating:
- Concrete Embedments
- Voids In Concrete
- Utility Lines (Metallic And Nonmetallic)
- Contaminated Soil
- Underground Storage Tanks
- Landfills
- Ground Faults
- Voids/Caves
- Archeological Artifacts
- Bodies
With GPR depth and size of subsurface structures can be closely defined and the areas of interest can be marked on the surface and mapped if required. With our Quickview Video camera we can video up to 300 feet of pipeline with distance measurements and close-up pictures on areas of interest.
A-E-I experience includes
- Structural investigations of buildings
- Utility mapping
- Void locations under structures or prior to construction
- Pipeline mapping at chemical refineries
- Mapping unmarked graves
- Underground storage tank (UST) locations
